Meer over PEA

PEA (volledige naam Palmitoylethanolamide) is een vetzuuramide dat van nature voorkomt in het menselijk lichaam, in de lichamen van vele gewervelde en ongewervelde dieren en ook in planten. Over de werking en voordelen van PEA mag vrijwel niks gezegd worden. Wij raden u dan ook aan om voor meer informatie over PEA een arts, therapeut of andere gezondheidsprofessional te raadplegen.

PEA is een natuurlijke en lichaamseigenstof die in cellen wordt geproduceerd en daar fysiologische functies heeft die samenhangen met homeostase van het lichaam, te vergelijken met vitamine D en alfa liponzuur. PEA bindt aan een aantal verschillende receptoren. PEA is sinds 1980 niet meer als geregistreerd geneesmiddel verkrijgbaar en wordt daarom nu als voedingssupplement op de markt gebracht. PEA is zeer goed onderzocht in meer dan 400 wetenschappelijke studies en diverse klinische onderzoeken werden de effecten en invloed van PEA onderzocht.

PEA Ervaringen

Omdat PEA een lichaamseigen stof is, wordt het zeer goed opgenomen in het lichaam. Bovendien maakt gebruik van Pea niet suf wat bij andere stoffen waaraan vergelijbare effecten worden toegewezen wel vaak gemeld wordt. PEA kan bovendien goed in combinatie met medicijnen gebruikt worden. Toch raden wij aan om bij gebruik van PEA, in combinatie met medicijnen, de gezondheidsspecialist te raadplegen die u de medicijnen voor schreef.

Sinds wij realitief veel PEA verkopen hebben wij van meedere klanten feedback gekregen. Deze klanten, die ervaring hebben met het innemen van PEA, melden voornamelijk positieve resultaten. Vooral de pea producten die het Pea-opt keurmerk hadden werden positief beoordeeld. Belangrijke feedback die wij kregen van onze klanten is dat PEA niet meteen een merkbaar effect heeft  maar dat het effect van PEA tussen 10 en 21 dagen duidelijk merkbaar wordt.

Als u pea wilt kopen raden wij u, zoals eerder gemeld, aan op het pea-opt keurmerk te letten. Dit is PEA die aan zeer hoge eisen voldoet. Naast dit keurmerk kunt u ook letten op PEA supplementen met een extra vitamine B toevoeging.

Referentie en onderzoeken naar PEA 

Er is veel wetenschappelijk onderzoek gedaan naar PEA. Het meeste onderzoek naar PEA starte nadat de Italiaanse Nobelprijswinnares Rita Levi-Montalcini de stof eind jaren 90 onderzocht. Haar bevindingen leide tot veel extra onderzoek naar de werking van de stof. Hieronder een overzicht van slechts enkele onderzoeken die gedaan zijn naar de werking van PEA.
